Custom Strips & Extrusions for the Crowne Plaza Montreal Airport Hotel (Renovation Project)

Project Overview

The Crowne Plaza Montreal Airport Hotel Hotel wanted a more modern look and brighter corridors. After a consultation with Arani’s lighting specialists and Les Entreprises PNG Inc, LED strips in a recessed extrusion were selected as the solution. The new lights would be installed along the sides and on the ceilings of the corridors for a decorative and modern linear look. The LED strips and extrusions were cut to the specified length at the Arani workshop and shipped to the job site ready to plug and play.

Project Details

There were 5 floors at the Crowne Plaza Montreal Airport Hotel that needed LED strips and extrusions. Around 80 pieces of LED strips and extrusions were installed at varying lengths, such as 35’’ and 85’’ pieces, for a grand total of 9480 inches! The 120W LED strip was used to offer the maximum brightness, and to ensure the final result was dot-free thanks to the LED chips being closer together on the strip. A milky lens was used to diffuse the light and mask the dots completely. The result is a completely transformed ambiance, beautifully installed by Les Entreprises PNG Inc.
