Running out of room in an existing 4-inch octagon box no longer means tearing it out. This deep galvanized steel extension ring stacks directly on top and adds 21 cubic inches of usable volume for extra conductors, splices or a fixture change. Concentric 1/2 and 3/4 inch knockouts open only the entries you need, and the steel body seats cleanly on the box below. cETL certification keeps the addition inspection-ready. When a box is overfilled and a device still has to go in, it turns a rework headache into a two-minute fix.
